What effect will increasing numbers of residences have on towns? Residences provide similar benefits to regioned towns. Three or four players sharing a res would find 1000c and the rent no burden at all. So they end up with their own little town without the heavy item requirements. I keep...- WitchOnaRampage

Bug Cauldrons not Working
This is what I've found works for me, but there's bound to be simpler methods. I stand with my feet at the same height as the top of the cauldron, but back a little from it, to throw items in and then stir them with the spade several times until I get the bang.
