    While turning it off is all well and good for those of us all familier with how HC server rules works, if there is an intention for new players to join us for the start of this new world, then I feel it would be in @Kainzo best interests to leave it on and let us duke it out in the wilderness.

    Remember folks the newbie protection will be in effect at the start of the server and I'm sure Kainzo wil have the newbie island up and running as well for us all too test out. So unless there are gank sqauds waiting for you at the other side of the exit portal/gate/whatever the start of this...

    Due to myself living in your future, I'd like the release date to not be pushed back, its going up on a Saturday for me, so I'd like as much of my weekend as possible to kick start on the server. I'm more than happy to live with downtime / upgrades as the weeks progress to make it complete...

    I still don't understand why your host hasn't resolved this issue yet? Seems like you need to get a better hosting company that can actually deal with DOS attacks. They are not that complicated to beat and stop.
