    My guess is higher exp in PvP, less spawns vs PvE lesser exp and more spawns. Assuming that is possible to change from area to area.

    No idea what is causing it, but when I connect in 1.7.2 or 1.8, I'm put into the map where we get sent during restarts and such (Not the hub). I am connecting from hc.to and I tried hub.hc.to. (I also tried the creative server and I get the same outcome)...

    This is a super old thread. Also, good luck roleplaying in game. There is no platform in Herocraft, nor Minecraft to support it outside of chat. I guess you could do freestyle, but then you will have metagaming and force-play. Seriously need to have some structure in my honest opinion.
