Some more information has come out about the shield slot.... It's actually known as the Off-hand slot, where any item can be put to use along with a tool. Right click uses this offhand item, whether it be a shield or potion. DB has stated that you can put a stack of torches in and place torches... -

Can't access adventure forums...
I find it strange as I talked with Kainzo just the other day while building on the adventure map. I've written quests, etc, and just because I couldn't attend the meetings I was booted? -
