    I agree with something like this but I think it should be a passive ability and not use up stamina. Instead there should be a %chance to ignite an enemy with your weapon, maybe only if you use a blaze rod, so it's like striking a match on your enemy. Could have some cool sparky visual effects...

    You should be able to run on any version of 1.7 but most people are running 1.7.2 so they can use macro mod for keybinds. I've personally managed to logon with 1.7.9 before though so it might be an issue with your client, maybe try creating a new profile!
