Bug Super Speed Growth

I seem to be having growth issues at my farm.

Whenever I place down seeds they immediately turn into wheat, Im unsure as to whether this is a chunk issue but it is really weird.

From tests I've found that more people are in an area cause a faster growth rate. If you are planting in a heavily populated town it might be that the tick rate is just that crazy.

Haven't seen this - there isn't any way for wheat to skip the growth phases and grow. Anecdotally, my wheat farm never grows fast enough...

My plan when farming: Harvest/replant wheat, Harvest Sugar cane, Harvest the now fully grown wheat. The speed is sick. Melon is worse. If you harvest melons, they will grow right back again behind you.

We had a melon every 30 seconds with four people building around one stalk.

Gosh, my farms take forever to grow! Especially my reeds, I wish I was you guys -.-

I have the same problem as troppicz, its only in certain areas and once one does it, it tents to spread and continue for the next 2/3 placed seeds then stop.
