How could I have not noticed this thread?

I'm on my second character now, got bored of my lvl69 (giggity) Imperial mage.
The new guy is a dark elf archer, going to rush the story line with him and then get the achievement for getting most of the daedric artifacts.

I'm going to make a new character, what "race" should it be?

I choose race depending on what I wanna do, their beginning stats differ.

Hopefully that's specific enough.

Think more of what type of combat, lol. Each race is best for a certain play style dependent on their starting stats and bonuses.

1 handed and magic.
Also pretty baws with a bow too and sneak attacks.

My go-to race for that is dark elf. (Also my favorite)

Illusion: +5
Light Armor: +5

I made a Necromancer, and I finally unlocked Undead Thrall, but now I somehow have to get my magicka up high enough to cast it x.x (magicka is currently at 210, and with the Master Conjuration perk I would need my magicka at 500 (without enchants) right?

Mages are hard to pull off in general if you don't put all of your points into magicka.

Not true, if you've got sufficient magicka boosting gear you can dedicate about 1 of every 2 or 3 levels to other attributes.

Who actually wastes their time enchanting though? Haha that is almost as ridiculous as smithing!

Hey now. I mastered both of those.

Enchanting lets you make very powerful armor.

Im working on 100 enchanting atm so I can make awesomely enchanted warrior, archer, and mage armor.

Since I just realized I lost my save files, I'll be replaying soon-ish as an archer >:O

On my 2nd out of 3 characters a Khajit light armor dual wielder I was like lvl 10 and 4 elder dragon attacked me at Windhelm docks D: My 1st Character I accidently deleted and my 3rd which I beat DBrotherhood with and is an Argonian archer/double daedric maces Is the closest one I have to beating the main story. And my Khajit I also was Stormcloak!

I hear Khajiit get some brutal kill animations for unarmed. Makes me wanna try it >=o
