I'd like to use this to say that Spoutcraft has the ability to upgrade and downgrade MC legally, for you, so you can play with older builds.

It will be able to downgrade 1.2 to 1.1 if you end up being overeager and upgrading. So no excuse!

I'm waiting for a mod that lets you "register" these guys to players, so that they defend you as well as standard villagers.
