Basically it was a client based game. Heavy on strategy and there was one tick every hour I believe. You started on a single planet and needed to colonize the planets around you by building colony ships, and researching stuff. Use the planets to collect resources and build fleets of ships to conquer your neighbors.
One game lasted roughly 3 months. I used to be one of the top 2 or 3 players from the united states. Game was based out of Romania so 99% of my opponents were foreign. Strangely the games main language was English so they were forced to speak broken English and thus I could communicate with them haha.
Anyway this game was popular around 2005-2006. Over the last couple years at some point the company Blue Gecko Entertainment died and this game was lost. So was wondering does anyone know of a game in existence today that is anything like this?
