Hehe, no. There will be no pvp. It will be like it's in the middle of spawn. Three small areas will be setup for pvp for the combat events, but only within the boundaries of the arena. The spectating areas will be no pvp.

I cannot give you exact information at this time but I can tell you that each town will start with a keep that is reasonably defensible, and in between the four keeps will be a small village, a mine and a farm. Each keep as well as the center three locations will have a control tower. The control tower will consist of a button for each town. You will have to run up to your town's button and prime it to make the control go neutral, once it's neutral you will have to prime it again to claim it. Once a location is claimed it will tick points into your teams total score. All of this will be done through craftbook and will be automated.

This sounds awesome! hopefully even after the olympics, the admins could set up a regioned area or two with a permanent set up of this for people to fight over.

Thanks @Eldrylars for the tour of the events so far! :D The parkour is HARDDDDD as hell... and the water rafts looks fun(if not for the fact that your boat breaks too easy..)

Family illness mixed with short staffed long days at work has slowed construction and time lines to a crawl. The event's are still getting finished just at a slower pace, so hang in there and I will continue to update here with more information over the coming week leading up to the public opening of the events to give everyone time to practice before the actual Olympics

Ahh, thanks for the reply, and fortunately there is no spectator problem! :D

As we can see, great minds think alike, the event areas are all regioned and they are all equipped with spectator boxes already!
You will be able to watch all the events as they happen in a no pvp environment.
