Dubstep

I absolutely LOVE dubstep, and that's no exaggeration. BUT, Skrillex and Deadmau5 are NOT dubstep, they are house music producers. Deadmau5 is actually in a genre called progressive house. Please, when I say, do you like dubstep, don't respond with "Yeah, I love Skrillex!"

I thought skrillex was dubstep. I dont really like his music though.

Skrillex is dubstep - he may not have always been dubstep - but that's the genre hes moving towards with his most recent work, unrelated to his dumb ass hair style.

Dubstep is the evil work of hipster demons who think they're being creative, but are really just adding "DROP THE BASS" to a bunch of random ass beats and random words from songs and shows etc. Well, mostly.

I classify dubstep as something that has alot of drops / wubs. Skrillex has more of a electric / techno feel to his music, not dubstep. I agree somewhat with his new works, but even those are still rooted in electronic / techno roots.

You have it the opposite. Look up the original dubstep. It was a sub-genre of electronica.
